TAMPA — Police arrested a Temple Terrace man Saturday they say kidnapped a teenager and an adult, sexually assaulted them and videotaped sexual acts.
On Sept. 11, one of the victims was walking along Williams Road when George Renju Thomas, 31, gave her a ride to his house at 12607 Rain Forest St., according to an arrest report by Temple Terrace police.
Once there, he forced her to have sex with him three times and threatened to kill her if she left, the report said.
Two days later, the woman contacted a friend on Facebook asking for help to get her away from the "Trap House," the report said.
When the woman's friend arrived, Thomas forced the two at gunpoint to have sex while he recorded it on a cell phone camera and webcam, the report said.
On Sept. 16, Thomas brought the victims to St. Petersburg, the report said. The police report does not make clear how the victims were released.
The victims identified Thomas through police photos. In a search of Thomas' home, police found it as described by the victims, the report said.
Upon arrest, Thomas, who is listed as member of a Folk Nation gang, admitted to having sex with one of the victims and recording the sex acts between him and the victims, the report said. One of the victims was 16 years old.
Thomas is charged with two counts of armed kidnapping, two counts of sexual battery with a weapon, sexual performance of a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child. He is being held in the Hillsborough County jail without bail.
Thomas has been arrested in Florida 22 times, including on charges of stalking in 2005 in which adjudication was withheld and he was put on a year of probation, according the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
