ST. PETERSBURG — A man smashed an electric guitar over another man's head during an argument, police said.
Julius A. Casterberry, 47, of St. Petersburg was arguing with Henry Taylor at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police said. Casterberry grabbed an electric guitar and hit Taylor over the head several times, breaking the guitar into pieces, police said.
Taylor was taken to Bayfront Medical Center, where he was treated and released. A witness saw Casterberry hit Taylor with the guitar, police said.
Casterberry was charged with aggravated battery. He was in the Pinellas County Jail on Tuesday morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.
