Someone hit it lucky at Sunoco on Powell Road
One of the three winning tickets in the Florida Lottery's Fantasy Five drawing on Monday was purchased at the Sunoco Gas Station, 18226 Powell Road. The winning numbers were 12-15-27-28-32. The total prize amount was $65,804.21; each winner will receive $21,934.74. The other two winning tickets were purchased in Miami.
Spring Hill Sign up for festival celebrating cultures
Today is the last day to sign up to participate in the HUMAN (Hernando Unified Multicultural Association Network) Festival, set for 10:30 a.m. to dusk Oct. 3 at the SNPJ Lodge/Suncoast Dance Party Center grounds, 13383 County Line Road. Clubs, merchants and entertainers may participate through food, art or performances with a multicultural theme. Booths are $50 each; electricity is available for an additional $5.
