Hernando County religion calendar

BROOKSVILLE

Great Life Church is a new nondenominational church that meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at the Hernando Christian Academy, 7200 Emerson Road. The pastors are Steve and Ellen Bilsborough. Visit greatlifechurch.com online or call (813) 333-5360.

Faith Fellowship Church, 19255 Campground Road, will have an indoor yard sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2 in the fellowship hall. Household items, clothing, furniture, children's items, tools, hot dogs, cold drinks and coffee will be available for purchase. Call (352) 754-9330.

Inner Peace Church of the Spirit will sponsor Intenders Circle at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Inner Peace Bookstore and Wellness Center, 421 W Jefferson St. Led by Maria Greene, the gathering is based on the book Intenders Handbook by Tony Burroughs, a guide to the intention process and conscious community. SPRING HILL

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2301 Deltona Blvd., has scheduled its St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 on the church grounds. Pets are welcome and will receive treats. The Humane Society will have pets for adoption, and animals from 100 Acre Wood Wildlife Rescue will be shown. Call (352) 683-2010.

St. Paul the Apostle Parish will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 9 in the parking lot of Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. There are 35 to 40 spaces available for vendors at $10 per space. Call (352) 584-3988.

Spring Hill United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd., will have a rummage sale and outdoor flea market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Oct. 2. Clothing, household items, books, toys, small electronics and appliances, tools and sports equipment will be available. Breakfast and lunch items will be sold. Bridge Christian Life Center, 7279 Pinehurst Drive, will have a fall festival fundraiser by its youth group from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 16. Christian Life Assembly of God, 13065 Jacqueline Road, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a concert by recording artist Rita Springer at 7 p.m. Oct. 2. Tickets cost $10; doors open at 6:30. Hope Youth Ranch needs vendors for its Holiday Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6. at Mariner Village Plaza, 5181 Mariner Blvd. Each $25 vendor donation benefits the ministry's "Mending Fences and Lives" campaign, which pays to fix 8-foot sections of fence at the ranch.
