A Wesley Chapel driver was arrested late Saturday after she ran her Mazda into a motorcycle and fled the scene, police said.
Police arrested Jahne C. Martina, 23, on suspicion of leaving the scene of a crash with injuries and DUI. Police say she was driving a 1998 Mazda when she struck a 2005 Harley-Davidson ridden by Matthew T. Pearson, 47, in front of Countryside Ford at 24825 U.S. 19.
Pearson was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Clearwater police found and arrested Martina in her car at Countryside Boulevard and U.S. 19.
