Brooksville Elementary School: Back to School Night and the Title I annual meeting for grades 1 through 5 will befrom 5:45 to 8 p.m. today, including the Title I "Tonight Show," starring the BES Student Performers with host Amy Anderson. Visit your child's classroom for information from teachers and schedule parent-teacher conferences. A hot dog dinner is available for a $1 donation per family. Door prizes will be awarded.
Deltona Elementary School: The Title I annual meeting and Back to School Night will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today for kindergarten, first, second, fourth and fifth grades beginning in the cafeteria. The third grade meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria.
D.S. Parrott Middle School: The Title I annual meeting and open house is at 6 p.m. Oct. 14. Parent-teacher conferences will be available. There will be a free catered dinner for families.
Eastside Elementary School: The school Title I annual meeting and Back to School Night is from 5 to 7 p.m. today with a free spaghetti dinner. A Dell computer will be awarded as a door prize.
Hernando Christian Academy: The school will celebrate its third anniversary with a Legacy Dinner and auction Oct. 9 at the school. Call (352) 796-0616.
Nature Coast Technical High School: The automotive department will host its Cannonball Golf Tournament with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start Oct. 8 at Silverthorn Country Club. Check-in begins at noon. Pine Grove Elementary School: The Title I parent night for grade 3 through 5 is at 6 tonight in the cafeteria. A Girl Scout rally is 6:30 to 8 Oct. 7 in the cafeteria.

Springstead High School: Pepsi has chosen the Marching Eagle Brigade to compete for a $50,000 grant in the Pepsi Refresh Project for September. Westside Elementary School: The annual Title I Academic Journey begins at 6 tonight in students' homerooms. The event is to help parents and guardians help students succeed during the school year. Business and community partners will be in the cafeteria, and refreshments will be served. Door prizes at the end of the evening. Students do not need to attend.
