BROOKSVILLE — The spokeswoman for the Hernando County Sheriff's Office suffered minor injuries in a vehicle collision this morning at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and Fort Dade Avenue.
Sgt. Donna Black was taken to Oak Hill Hospital in stable condition, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office. No one else was injured in the crash.
Deputies said evidence suggests that Black wasn't the driver at fault.
The investigation into the accident is still ongoing. The Sheriff's Office said it would release more information when the investigation is complete.
