SPRING HILL — Hernando County authorities arrested two suspects Saturday in connection with robberies of two convenience stores and an armed carjacking in a Publix parking lot earlier in the week.

Robert Cyr, 28, and Jennifer Crawford, 19, were arrested about 2:30 a.m. after they confessed, according to a statement from the Hernando Sheriff's Office. They were being held Saturday at the Hernando County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail on three counts of robbery with a firearm.

Authorities said they are responsible for a robbery at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the BP station at 13075 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill and another at the Circle K at 14195 Elgin Blvd. in Spring Hill at about 4 a.m. Monday.

A shot was fired inside the BP station, but no one was hurt.

Cyr and Crawford also admitted stealing a man's motorcycle outside the Publix at 4365 Commercial Way in Spring Hill at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said. In that case, a man identifying himself as a sheriff's deputy had called the store and reported that a motorcycle needed to be moved from the front of the building. When the owner of the motorcycle went outside to move the bike, he was confronted by a man and a woman.
