TAMPA — Sheriff's Office divers fished a man out of Tampa Bay who they say dove off a ship during a customs search Saturday afternoon.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection searched the ship in the Hookers Point area near Port Sutton and detained three men.
The federal agency called in the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for assistance after the fourth man jumped overboard. His identity was not released.
