HSN invention show starts Nov. 19 on TLC
Homemade Millionaire, a new reality show pitting kitchen table inventors eager to sell their brainstorms on St. Petersburg-based HSN, has been scheduled to run on TLC.
The series of six one-hour episodes, which features talk show host Kelly Ripa and expert appearances by many regulars from the HSN products stable, will air on the cable network starting at 10 p.m. Nov. 19. Thousands of female would-be inventors tried out to be one of three finalists who compete to get their products ready for prime-time TV shopping.
The series is produced by Milojo Productions, a New York studio owned by Ripa and her husband, former All My Children soap opera actor Mark Consuelos, a USF grad who grew up in Valrico.
