Spring Hill

AARP workshop on "Long Term Care — What is Your Plan?": 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Spring Hill Enrichment Center, 11375 Cortez Blvd., behind Oak Hill Hospital. Another workshop will be offered Nov. 4 (same time and place). Presented by Marsha Reiniers, an AARP-authorized agent with Genworth Life Insurance. The free workshop will include information on the basics of long-term care planning, how Medicare and Medicaid work in regard to long-term care planning, and the new Florida Partnership Long-Term Care Program. Her topic is "Basics of Heart Failure," which will include causes, signs and symptoms, risk factors, medications and preventions. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
