DADE CITY
Lamb chop will perform at fair
The world-famous puppet Lamb Chop, accompanied by Mallory Lewis, the daughter of the late Shari Lewis, will be part of the retro lineup at the 64th annual Pasco County Fair. The theme for the fair, scheduled for Feb. 21-27, will be "C'mon Get Happy," a nod to the cheerful theme song of the 1970s hit show the Partridge Family. "We feel our fair is a happy, fun place for families to come and have a good time, so we want our theme for 2011 to be an open invitation for everyone to c'mon get happy, and enjoy all the fair has to offer," said fair chairman Tracy J. Thompson. The rest of the entertainment lineup for the fair is being finalized and will be announced soon. Fair memberships are being sold through Jan. 31. Applications are available at the fair office, 36722 State Road 52, or online at pascocountyfair.com.
