Upcoming Hernando bazaars, craft shows and more

A number of benefit flea markets, bazaars, and arts and craft shows are coming up in the weeks ahead:

• First United Methodist Church annual Bazaar and Bake Sale, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13, 109 S Broad St., Brooksville. Lunch available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including homemade soups and hot dogs. All proceeds benefit the food pantry and scholarship fund. Call (352) 796-3363.

• Brookridge Crafty Stitchers' annual Craft Sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13, at the Brookridge Clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St., west of Brooksville. There will be a raffle for a large Raggedy Ann and Andy, and a cross-stitched baby quilt. There will also be a silent auction and baked goods available. Free admission and hourly door prizes. • Tri-County Community Center Bake-Craft-Yard Sale, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13, 2844 Forbes St., Nobleton. Includes clown face painting from noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 13. The group is formerly the Tri-County Volunteer Fire Department Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary. Call (352) 799-7720.

• Springstead Football "Huge Flea Market Fundraiser," 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13, Springstead Theatre parking lot, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Spaces are $10; bring your own table. Set up begins at 6 a.m. For reservations, call Greg at (352) 683-3528.

• Ridge Manor Property Owners Association Arts and Craft Show, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13, Ridge Manor Community Center, 34240 Cortez Blvd., Ridge Manor. Includes food, children's crafts, bake sale and raffles. Vendor spaces are $10 for outdoor spaces and $15 for indoor tables. Call Fay Henderson at (352) 608-4078.

• St. Andrew's Episcopal Church annual Canterbury Fayre, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13, 2301 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill. The event will include arts and crafts, a creative fair with dance, gymnastics, art, drumming, classical and sacred music performances. Indoor and outdoor tables are $15, plus a donation of an item for the raffle. Call Jodi at (352) 683-2010.

• Holiday Stop and Shop, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 13, VFW Post 10209, 14736 Edward R. Noll Drive, Spring Hill. This indoor event is a fundraiser of the post's Ladies Auxiliary, with funds benefiting prostate cancer, cancer aid and research. Coffee, doughnuts and a bake sale will be available. • Silverthorn Holiday Boutique, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13, at Silverthorn Community Center, 4400 Mallard Drive. Call Ruby at (352) 799-2604.

• Homosassa Arts, Crafts and Seafood Festival, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 13 and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 14, at Yulee Drive and Mason Creek Road, Homosassa. The annual festival will include fresh seafood, southern delicacies, a juried art show, and arts and crafts booths. No pets allowed. Admission is $2 for adults, free for kids. Call (352) 628-9333.
