ST. PETERSBURG — A man driving a pickup truck collided with a fire truck late Friday morning.
The unidentified driver was pinned inside his truck until emergency workers cut off the roof and pulled him out.
The crash happened near 3601 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. S, according to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.
The driver gave a thumbs up after he was removed from his Chevrolet S-10 pickup. He was taken to a hospital and his condition was not immediately available.
The fire engine had minor damage near its front left wheel but no other injuries were reported.
