WORLD AIDS DAY MARKED BY FREE TESTS, flu shots
The 22nd Annual World AIDS Day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Park, 350 Second Ave. N.
The Pinellas HIV/AIDS Community Prevention Planning Partnership will provide free health screenings and flu vaccines during the event.
Free HIV testing will be available at the five Pinellas County Health Department centers:
• St. Petersburg, 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.
• Largo, 12420 130th Ave. N.
• Pinellas Park, 6350 76th Ave. N.
• Clearwater, 310 N Myrtle Ave.
• Tarpon Springs, 301 S Disston Ave.
The theme of the 2010 International World AIDS celebration is "Universal Access and Human Rights." World AIDS Day links communities across the globe in an effort to draw attention to HIV/AIDS.

Last call for Mainsail Arts Festival entries
Applications to be an exhibitor in the 36th Annual Mainsail Arts Festival are due by Wednesday. Applications must be submitted online at zapplication.org or by visiting mainsailartsfestival.org and clicking on "Artists Info" at the bottom and then ZAPP.
The festival will be held in Vinoy Park on April 16 and 17. Mainsail 2011 is also looking for volunteers to help with planning and production.
