ST. PETERSBURG — An unidentified man riding a scooter died after colliding with a motorized wheelchair late Tuesday night, police said.
The unidentified man was taken to Bayfront Medical Center after the 10 p.m. crash, where he died from his injuries.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said that an unidentified person operating the wheelchair was crossing Fourth Street North diagonally from the east side of 14th Avenue North.
The scooter rider was traveling south when he crashed at Fourth Street North and 14th Avenue North.
Police have not said whether charges will be filed.
No additional information was immediately available.
