Louis Miller, former longtime executive director of Tampa International Airport, is one of three finalists under consideration to run Atlanta's larger Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Miller in February abruptly said he would resign following apparent friction with recently appointed TIA board member Steve Burton. The lawyer had challenged Miller over items ranging from international air service marketing to Miller's authority to order demolition of vacant aviation authority structures. Competing with Miller for the Atlanta job are John D. Clark III, executive director and CEO of the Indianapolis Airport Authority and Lester Robinson, former CEO of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
