CLEARWATER — A 24-year-old man is accused of a vicious attack against his live-in girlfriend that sent her to the hospital "covered head to toe with injuries," according to an arrest report.
Yeorgo P. Ramos, of 2025 Rogers St., No. 310, was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a felony.
According to Clearwater police, Ramos attacked his girlfriend twice during a four-hour period on Friday.
Police said Ramos:
* smashed the woman in the face with a flat screen television
* hit her in the face three times with a box fan and about 50 times with his hands
* struck her in the head with a metal pan
* hit her in the back with a chair, twice
* choked her repeatedly
* spit on her several times
The woman was treated at a local emergency room. Her condition was not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
Ramos is being held without bail in the Pinellas County Jail.
