The Tampa Bay Rays have partnered with Daystar Life Center and the Louise Graham Regeneration Center to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and identity theft. Get your important documents shredded for free when you donate a canned good from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Louise Graham Regeneration Center, 2301 Third Ave. S, in St. Petersburg. Fiery foods on the menu at I Like It Hot Festival
The 10th annual I Like It Hot Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Minnreg Hall, 6340 126th Ave. N in Largo. The festival includes hot and fiery foods to sample and purchase, hundreds of hot pepper plants, a pepper eating contest and hot sauce and salsa competitions. Pub crawl benefits breast cancer survivors
My Hope Chest is hosting a Pub Crawl from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Riptides, 7618 Blind Pass Road. The crawl will begin at Riptides and move through the businesses of Corey Avenue. Each bar will have a signature drink special and light hors d'oeuvres. $20 per person. Proceeds go toward breast reconstruction surgeries of uninsured breast cancer survivors.
