TAMPA — A man walked into a restaurant Tuesday with a pistol and a craving for pizza.
He had a slice and then decided to rob the place, authorities said. But he left his cell phone and an ID behind, and was arrested after claiming he had been attacked, sheriff's deputies said.
Anthony O'Neil Kinloch, 22, walked into Westshore Pizza, 5310 N Orient Road, at about 8:45 p.m. He soon pulled out a .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol, waved it in the air, chambered a round and demanded money from an employee, sheriff's deputies said.
But it started with a simple soda and slice of pizza.
