SPRING HILL — Hernando County authorities are on the lookout for a man who robbed a SunTrust Bank on Friday afternoon.
The man handed a teller a note at the bank branch at 1170 Mariner Blvd., said Sgt. Donna Black, spokeswoman for the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. He did not show a weapon and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Black said.
Witnesses described the man as white and possibly in his mid 30s. He was wearing a bulky gray sweatshirt, a tight, black knit cap and possibly jeans.
The bank is about a half-mile south of Linden Drive.
No additional information was immediately available.
