PORT RICHEY — Suncoast Ford and Suncoast Mitsubishi have been acquired by a statewide automotive dealer group that plans to renovate and expand the Pasco operations.
Morgan Auto Group purchased both dealerships this month and renamed them Ford of Port Richey and Port Richey Mitsubishi.
Suncoast managing partner David Council, a longtime Port Richey resident, contacted Morgan Auto Group founder Larry Morgan earlier this year to discuss joining the dealer group. Morgan Auto Group owns 10 dealerships throughout Florida that offer new and used BMW, Buick, Ford, GMC, Honda, Lamborghini, Mitsubishi, Scion and Toyota vehicles.
"I could not have found or asked for a better partner to bring these dealerships into leadership positions," Council said in a prepared statement.
