Woman killed in crash at Trinity, SR 54
A New Port Richey woman was killed in a crash at State Road 54 and Community Drive Friday afternoon. Helen Kallergis, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:55 p.m. crash, the Florida Highway Patrol reported. Troopers said a 13-year-old passenger, Nicholas Kallergis, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Troopers said Kallergis was driving a 1996 Saturn north on Community Drive when she drove onto State Road 54 and was struck by a 2000 Dodge pickup driven by Dustin R. San Martin, 45, of Brooksville. San Martin suffered minor injuries in the crash, troopers said. Troopers did not release any information about potential charges. The investigation is continuing.
