Pasco County operates eight congregate dining centers for adults 60 and older, funded in part by the Older Americans Act. There is no charge for the meals, but donations are encouraged. The county also delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: the Elderly Nutrition Program, also funded in part by the Older Americans Act, delivers meals at no charge, but donations are encouraged; the Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $6 fee per meal. Monday: Baked meat loaf with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, baby Brussels sprouts, whole grain wheat bread with margarine, pineapple chunks, low fat milk.
