Crabby Bill's at the Clearwater Municipal Marina has agreed to a four-year extension on its lease with the city. Its current lease would expire in September. The new lease, which the City Council will approve Thursday, extends to 2015. Council members said Tuesday that this should calm some Clearwater Beach residents' fears that the city intends to redevelop the marina property. Crabby Bill's pays $10,000 a month in rent. The restaurant is agreeing to do a $30,000 roof repair, $50,000 in handicapped accessibility work, $60,000 in plumbing and electrical upgrades, and $50,000 in painting and facade work.
