BROOKSVILLE — The Hernando County Bar Association Inc. is accepting applications for the Hernando County Bar Association Scholarship and the Alan W. Underwood Memorial Scholarship. Each is $1,000.
Applicants must be Hernando County residents, full- or part-time students at Pasco-Hernando Community College, interested in a career in law or another law-related field such as law enforcement and paralegal studies, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in high school and/or at the college, if applicable.
Individuals can apply for both scholarships but can only win one. The deadline is March 19. Awards will be made during Law Week, the first week of May.
