Don't forget an umbrella today, grab a jacket for the weekend

It rained all night, and it's expected to keep raining through Friday afternoon before it gets cold.

Pinellas and Hillsborough counties got between three-quarters of an inch and an inch and a half of rain, said Juli Marquez, Bay News 9 meteorologist. In Pasco County it was more than an inch and a half of rain.

St. Petersburg is also foggy this morning.

Thunderstorms pushed beyond Tampa Bay, but scattered showers will continue Friday morning and afternoon.

Temperatures will remain in the 60s until Friday night when it drops to the 40s.

Saturday will be cloudy with highs in the upper 50s. Sunday morning? Even colder. Tampa's low is expected to be 37 degrees, and other areas will be in the 30s and 40s. Cities in Pasco County will drop down to freezing temperatures in the 20s.
