Bistro group to talk about the Constitution

Chorus needs singers for 2010-11 season

The Tampa Oratorio Singers seeks singers for the 2010-11 season. Auditions are by appointment only at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 San Jose St. Choral or solo experience preferred. Motion Film Festival seeks submissions

The Motion Film Festival is looking for submissions for its November festival. Films must be less than 25 minutes long and considered a dramatic short, animated short or documentary short. The late submission deadline is Sept. 15. There is a $20 charge per submission, $15 for students. For information, visit withoutabox.com.

Free special devices available for the deaf

The nonprofit Deaf and Hearing Connection for Tampa Bay offers specialized telephones and ring-signaling devices at no cost to residents who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired. Equipment is available by appointment from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Deaf and Hearing Connection's main office in Seminole or at satellite locations throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Programs offer help with pregnancy, cancer

The two-hour class, "How to Have a Healthy Pregnancy," covers important topics related to the second trimester of pregnancy, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital Pavilion, 4321 N MacDill Ave., fourth floor. The cost is $20. Call (813) 443-3078.

On Thursday, the hospital will offer a restorative yoga cancer program to help alleviate the psychological and physical side effects during and after cancer treatments, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Arts Building, 3001 W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. To register, call (813) 443-3078.
