TAMPA — With all the foreboding of a blustery and frigid Children's Gasparilla Parade day, it doesn't seem all that bad out there, right?
But, according to Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, "Looks can be deceiving."
"It's funny because it doesn't feel that cold out this morning," Linker said. "But it's really not going to warm up much today."
While it should stay mostly sunny, Linker expects temperatures to remain in the mid- to upper-50s until about 4:30 p.m., when they'll likely drop into the 40s. Plus, it will be windy.
In other words, get out there, but make sure your swashbuckler garb includes a sweater.
