SEMINOLE — A man who had an ongoing dispute with a woman set her house on fire around midnight Saturday, authorities said.
Pinellas County deputies arrested the man, Paul R. Bowers, 52, of Madeira Beach and charged him with arson. Bowers was being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $100,000 bail.
No one was in the home at the time and no injuries were reported.
The house, at 8624 112th St. N, was substantially damaged, deputies said. According to the Pinellas Property Appraiser's Office, the home's was assessed in 2010 at $110, 558.
Bowers and the woman who lives at the home know each other. Investigators said Bowers had been arrested just last Thursday on burglary and property damage charges for breaking into the same house.
