TAMPA — Police blocked off the two left lanes of N Florida Avenue at Scott Street on Tuesday afternoon because of a crash.
At 2:40 p.m., firefighters found the two vehicle crashed in the intersection and had to free a woman trapped inside a sport utility vehicle, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
The woman was taken to Tampa General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Eastbound Scott Street was also closed Tuesday afternoon.
