The Springstead High School Marching Eagle Brigade will present its 2010 field show, "1776 Revolution & Triumph," today at the high school, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. A pasta dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria, followed by the premier performance of the show on the football field at 8 p.m. The cost is $5 at the door. Nighttime stroll: Chinsegut Nature Center will host a Big Pine Night Walk will from 8:30-10 tonight. Participants should meet at the Big Pine Tract, off Old Crystal River Road, north of Brooksville. Quick trips

Fractured fun: Fractured Follies, a Vaudeville-type show, will be performed at 6 p.m. Saturday at Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson. Dean Martin, Patsy Cline, Gypsy Rose Lee and Tom Jones are just a few of the stars who will come to life in this musical show of skits and comedy. Snacks will be served. Tickets are $10 each. One-act plays: The B.A.D. Theatre Company will present All In the Timing, a collection of one-act plays by David Ives, at 8 p.m. today and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Eleanor Dempsey Performing Arts Center, 13551 Hays Road, Hudson (on the campus of Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School). The plays include comedies dealing with modern relationships and pieces exploring the absurdity of language. Tickets are $15 for reserved seating and $9 for general admission. Coat of many colors: The Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be presented Sept. 9-26 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students 17 and younger. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and one hour before each show. Curtain call

'GLEE-FUL' dancers and singers needed: The John Leggio's Center for the Performing Arts will conduct open auditions for singers and dancers age 7 through adult for the upcoming show GLEE-FUL from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at the studio, 10455 County Line Road, Spring Hill. Singers should prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo song or ballad. Dancers should come prepared to learn a combination and should dress for dance. No accompanist will be provided; bring CD accompaniment if possible. Those auditioning do not have to be John Leggio students. The show is a musical theater revue based on the hit TV show Glee. Zany situation: Richey Suncoast Theater will have auditions for the Ray Cooney comedy Caught in the Net, the sequel to Run for Your Wife, at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theater, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Roles are for four men and three women ages 13 to 80-plus. Production dates are Oct. 21 through Nov. 7. Call (727) 842-6777 for information and details.
