SPRING HILL -- Three people were stabbed during a weekend robbery that erupted into a brawl.

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office gave this report: During a pre-arranged meeting between Jaleesa Scott and Kenneth Bond on Saturday near Toucan Trail and Oakridge Drive, Scott took Bond's wallet, containing $239, and ran off.

Bond, 19, chased Scott, 22, and tackled him, getting his wallet back. During that struggle, David Millard, 20, Dora Holley, 36, and David McKeag, 20, joined in the fracas.

Millard pulled a knife with a 3 to 4 inch blade from a pocket and stabbed Bond seven times in the left leg and once in the back; Holley was stabbed once in the back of the head; and McKeag was stabbed in the left forearm and right hand.

All three people received medical treatment and stitches at Oak Hill Hospital. All of the participants are from Spring Hill.

Millard told deputies that he thought he stabbed someone whom he said had hit him in the head with a crutch. Millard was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery. Scott was arrested on a charge of robbery.
