Hillsborough County sheriff's Deputy Lyonelle De Veaux's voice came over the radio, distressed.
"Three Gulf 37," she shouted to dispatchers, giving out her unique call signal.
Deputies knew something was wrong. They could hear it in her voice.
They quickly mobilized. Soon, a deputy found De Veaux.
"Hillsborough, I need EMS 10-18," he shouts, using the Sheriff's Office code for right away. "I got blood on De Veaux. I need 'em 10-18. 10-18."
A few seconds later, the same deputy says: "I got possibly two hits. I need someone down here with me by the front gate."
On Tuesday the Sheriff's Office released the first two minutes of radio transmissions after De Veaux was shot three times on Friday.
