Two Tampa teens accused of of burglary and grand theft

TAMPA — Two teens are accused of breaking into a Tampa home Tuesday afternoon and stealing two TVs, police said.

William James Roberts III, 18, and Dontavious R. Moore, 14, face charges of burglary and grand theft, police said. Roberts was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Moore was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

Here's what police say happened:

Callie West came home around 2 p.m. and noticed a missing 26- and 46-inch flat-screen televisions.

Officers combed the neighborhood and found Roberts and Moore loitering near West's home, police said. Officers searched the pair and found a television cord and remote control that were taken from the residence, according to police.

Police later located the missing televisions near the residence.
