Tampa Bay's two commercial airports announced Tuesday that new flights are on the way.
Allegiant Air will begin two nonstop flights weekly to Youngstown, Ohio, from St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport on Nov. 17. The carrier will sell one-way introductory fares for $69.99, taxes and fees not included, until Oct. 12 for travel through March 8, 2011. The fare won't be available on all flights.
Separately, British Airways will increase its schedule to start flying daily from Tampa International Airport to London's Gatwick Airport beginning March 27. The airline currently makes the flight five times a week.
