Teenager set Lexington Oaks clubhouse fires, deputies say
A 17-year-old boy is accused of setting fires about 2:50 a.m. Sunday beside the pool at the swanky Lexington Oaks clubhouse on Lexington Oaks Boulevard, damaging a patio table, chair and the children's pool, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. The teen also broke two mirrors, a soap dispenser and "disassembled a toilet" inside the women's restroom, a report states.
The Zephyrhills teen, whom the Times is not naming because of his age, was arrested Monday. He is charged with burglary of a structure. A Lexington Oaks manager did not return a call seeking information on damages to the clubhouse, which is rented for weddings and banquets.
