PALM HARBOR – It didn't take long for deputies to find Raymond Arzuaga after they say he robbed a convenience store early Thursday..

Arzuaga, 30, of Tampa, was charged with armed robbery after the Pinellas County Sheriff's office says he walked into the 7-Eleven at 100 Palm Harbor Boulevard at 1:45 a.m. He implied that he had a gun to the clerk, took cash and then fled in a white Toyota Rav 4.

About an hour later, a deputy saw a vehicle matching the description speeding near County Road 1 and Curlew Road, deputies said. The deputy stopped the vehicle, and found Arzuaga inside, wearing clothing matching the description of the robber's. The stolen money was also found in the vehicle, deputies said.

Arzuaga remains in Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. He was last arrested in Tampa on a theft charge in June.
