Fire Rescue offers visits from Santa
Oldsmar Fire Rescue is again sponsoring a children's holiday program that features a visit from Santa for homes in Oldsmar. Dates will be set according to a lottery system. To participate, families must mail a 3- by 5-inch card with their name, address and daytime phone number to Oldsmar Fire Rescue, 225 Pine Ave. N, Oldsmar, FL, 34677. Cards will be received through Nov. 15. After the appointment has been set, parents are to bring a small, wrapped present to the fire station with their child's name, address and the date and time of Santa's visit written clearly on the outside of the package. The gifts are to be brought to the fire station between Dec. 6 and 11. The fire department also asks that participating families help the less fortunate by bringing a small, unwrapped new toy for distribution in the Toys for Tots program. Those donations must be to the fire station by Dec. 11.
