Jury convicts woman in strip club brawl

Nicole Moore, who was accused of striking two people with her car in a fight outside a strip club, was found guilty by a jury Friday of two charges but acquitted of another.

Moore, 27, of Spring Hill went to Calendar Girls on U.S. 19 in Hudson at closing time on June 27, 2009, with two male friends. They got into an argument with a group of dancers, which quickly escalated into a parking lot brawl.

Prosecutors said Moore got in her car and struck two people, including one of her friends, and then fled.

The jury convicted her of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, but found her not guilty of aggravated battery. She faces up to 51/2 years in prison.
