Seminar focuses on improving cash flow

The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce is hosting a cash flow seminar Dec. 8 at the Alden Beach Resorts & Suites at 5900 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach.

Learn to apply the best practices to help you achieve successful cash flow management, increase cash flow or simply learn new cash flow strategies.

Panelists will include: Nancy Karnavicius of Bayprint in St. Petersburg, Joe Fala of Overhead Surf Shop in John's Pass Village, and Patricia Hubbard of Friendly Fisherman in John's Pass Village.

Dog boutique/bakery to have grand opening

Best Buddies Dog Boutique and Bakery will host the grand opening celebration of its new location, 6498 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The first 100 guests will receive treats and bandanas, and all guests can participate in contests throughout the day.

Chamber announces young leader awards

The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce has recognized several young professionals with Tomorrow's Leaders Awards Today.

Entrepreneur of the Year recipients are Christy Berks-Stross of YOUFIT and Charles Gallagher of Gallagher and Associates; Amy Cuykendall of Patient Advocates is Young Professional of the Year.

Other winners are: Delphinia Davis of Pinnacle Contracting Group, leadership in minority-owned business; Shawn Drouin of the city of St. Petersburg, leadership in government; Tuesdi Dyer of CASA, leadership in a nonprofit organization; Rick Giglio of Maney & Gordon, leadership in private enterprise with fewer than 250 employees; Brian Melton of Raymond James, leadership in private enterprise with more than 250 employees.
