TAMPA — Deputies announced that they've found at least 100 more pornographic photos on hard drives they say belong to former Brandon High School guidance counselor Robert Frederick Murray.
The Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that the photos depict children as young as 3. Investigators are still examining other external hard drives, said sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon.
Murray, 54, was arrested Nov. 10 at his home and initially charged with 80 counts of possession of child pornography.
He chose to retire rather than face termination, school district spokeswoman Linda Cobbe said a week after his arrest. He had worked for the Hillsborough County school district for more than 25 years.
Murray is out of jail on $90,000 bail. He was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet and have no contact with children.
Murray could not be reached midday Wednesday. A receptionist for his attorney, Dominic J. Baccarella, said the lawyer wouldn't be commenting on the case.
