BROOKSVILLE ELEMENTARY: The PTA-sponsored Winter Festival will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9. There will be bouncy rides, carnival games, a PTA silent auction, food and other activities. Parents are asked to bring 2-liter sodas, packaged snacks and cookies and baked goods for the cake walk. Volunteers are needed. Presale tickets will be available at five for $1 the week before the event and four for $1 the day of the festival.
HERNANDO HIGH: The band and chorus will present their Winter Music Festival at 8 p.m. Monday in the school's performing arts center. Admission is free. For information, call Joshua Autrey at (352) 797-7015, ext. 223.

PARROTT MIDDLE: The school invites its families to Stem Math Night, an interactive evening of math fun, math games, activities and math strategies from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Jerome Brown Community Center on Darby Lane in Brooksville.
