Event to help triplets' family after accident
A Holiday of Hope celebration will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday to benefit the family of the Hudson triplets who were hit by a car last month. The event outside 5 Boroughs restaurant, 1252 Mariner Blvd., will include live music, a Velcro wall, obstacle course, face painting, real snow and a visit with Santa. "We just wanted to do something for the kids," said Ryan Kalhorn, a spokeswoman for the triplets' family. A driver lost control of her car Nov. 5 and plowed into a yard where the 5-year-old Rossman triplets were playing. Delaney Rossman died the next day from her injuries; Gabrielle Rossman was hospitalized, but is now out of her casts and back home with her sister, Isabella.
