NORTH REDINGTON BEACH — Pinellas County sheriff's deputies are asking the public to help identify two people caught on surveillance video stealing artwork from the Wine Cellar Restaurant last month.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the restaurant's security cameras captured images of the man and woman stealing two paintings about 6 p.m. on Dec. 27.
The paintings — a 5-by-7 inch titled Summer Breeze and a 16-by-20 inch titled Lets Party IRB Wedding House — were hanging for sale in the lobby of the restaurant at 17307 Gulf Blvd.
Video shows the man taking the larger painting off the wall, then putting it on the floor near the entrance as customers come into the restaurant. He then picks it up and leaves with the woman without paying for it.
