Businessman runs as write-in candidate for Tampa mayor

TAMPA — Businessman Arthur Richardson has qualified to run as a write-in candidate in the Tampa mayor's race.

As a write-in, he did not have to pay a qualifying fee or collect signatures. However, his name will not appear on the ballot.

Since announcing his candidacy last year, Richardson has raised $100, campaign finance records show.

City elections will be held March 1.
