TARPON SPRINGS — One student suffered minor injuries early Thursday after a school bus was rear-ended on Alt. U.S. 19 and Wood Dove Ave, according to the Florida Highway Patrol and news reports.
Seven students were on board at the time of the crash, according to Bay News 9. The bus was taking students to East Lake High School.
The school bus collided with a red 1991 Jeep driven by 69-year-old Billy Wayne Berry.
The Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched about 6:21 a.m.
No other information was immediately available.
