It should be about 10 degrees cooler Wednesday night than it was in the morning.
Parts of Tampa Bay got up to a quarter of an inch of rain overnight. Temperatures Wednesday night were expected be in the mid 50s, said Juli Marquez, Bay News 9 meteorologist.
Dense fog covered coastal areas of southern Pinellas and Hillsborough counties Wednesday but was clearing by midmorning.
The cold front moving through Wednesday night will be brief. Hernando and Pasco counties could experience a drop into the 40s Thursday morning, when the bay area will again be foggy. By that afternoon, most locations will warm up into the 70s.
