LARGO — Two teenagers and a man were injured Monday when they fell through the second floor of an apartment, authorities said.
Two 16-year-olds, a girl and a boy, and a 24-year-old man were all taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg for treatment of minor injuries, said Largo Fire Rescue Division Chief David Mixson.
The incident, at a two-story apartment building at 600 Starkey Road, was called in at 2:30 p.m.
Mixson said the three fell through a "small hole" on the second floor and landed 10 feet below on the first floor. Police and firefighters were still at the scene, along with city building officials, at 3:30 p.m. to try to determine what caused the fall.
